Unless you live under a rock, you are aware of the opioid epidemic that is gripping not only Kentucky, but the country. Many people have a family member who is in the grips of an opioid addiction, whether it be prescription oxycodone, Percocet or all too often, heroin.
Often times, we watch the addict continue on to the bitter end, eventually dying of an overdose. There is a little known law in Kentucky called “Casey’s Law” that can help a family.
